It is finally spring in New Hampshire! I have decided to start posting, on a weekly basis, photographs of plants that I encounter in my beautiful home state.

Epigaea repens L. is a small herbaceous plant crawling along the forest floor in mixed hardwood forests in New Hampshire.  The flowers are white, with very subtle flushes of pink.  It is in the plant family Ericaceae.
